I’ve finally realised why I couldn’t get a beachy wave in my bob!

I’ve been trying for so long to get that lovely gentle wave in my bobbed hair and it’s never looked right.

Anyway, I tried again today and set my tongs on the lowest heat setting….bingo!! Perfect waves!! So chuffed. Just wanted to share in case anyone else couldn’t get them right.

Argh I really want to master this but I can’t! Any more tips? I’ve been trying to do it with my straighteners but I think they’re a bit old and crap and not hot enough… what type of tong do you use?

I cant do them with straighteners either, well I can but they always just end up looking a mess.

I’ve bought some Babyliss tongs, the ones without the pincer bit so you just wrap a section of hair around, just once, keep hold of the end that way you get a little wave rather than a curl and keep the heat low.

please can you post the exact Baybylisds hair tong/wand you’re using. I keep trying to put waves in my bob too, to no avail!
