DD12 with KP bumps on face & arms

Not sure if this is the right topic, but a good place to start!

DD12 has bumps on the tips of her arms and on her face. I believe after Dr Google it may be keratosis pilaris.

I was wondering if anyone had any remedies or treatments they recommend? I know glycolic acid is recommended, particularly for the body, but not sure about the face and the fact she is 12.

I think if you pop KP into You Tube then you’ll get dermatologist recommendations from the USA and probably the UK on how to treat it.

My teenagers had a similar issue and I didn’t want to give them glycolic acid as I wasn’t 100% confident they would use a high enough sunscreen all the time to prevent additional damage. I have given them body wash/face wash with salicylic acid instead which doesn’t have the same risk and this does the job! Can definitely tell when they run out.
