Lipstick for more mature olive skin

Hi, I have always used the maybelline matte lipsticks in a rose shade. But I'm now finding them quite drying for my skin (early 40's). I do prefer a matte finish, but can anyone recommend something more suitable for mature skin? I would also like to branch out with some different shades if anyone can recommend, I have olive skin. Thanks.

My DM has olive skin which is mature and she uses Clinique lipsticks. She had loads of pink shades to match her outfits. She suits bright colours in a way I don’t.

I’m older than you but I have great skin so wouldn’t describe it as mature because I don’t have any wrinkles etc
I use the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks because they’re lovely

I like Fenty Gloss Bomb Cream shade 02 (peachy pink) and the refillable Dior Addict in 558 (a pinkish shade that goes with everything except red).

I rate Mac Maxcimal Satin( or whatever it's called now) nicely moisturising but not sticky My favourite is " Maraschino Much".. a bright pink and
Creme in your coffee. A mid brown
I love the Lisa Eldridge shades, I'll treat myself to one when I can choose which one!

NARS lip crayons are lovely. You can build them up or just dab and smudge a bit

Agree with others that Lisa Eldridge lip colours are fantastic. I think Epanoui would fit the bill for you, not drying and long lasting and this colour is versatile and suits many skin tones.

What I tend to do before applying lipstick is put lip balm on my lips after applying foundation and once I’ve applied the rest of my make up I wipe thd lip balm off, apply a lip liner, I use a Boots No 7 one, then apply Lisa Eldridge lipstick. I find it that her lipsticks don’t dry my lips out and stay on really well plus they really suit my colouring
