Cotton On awful quality. Where else to buy basics?

I’ve been looking for some high-quality cotton basics like scoop neck T-shirts and vest tops whilst M&S is down. I paid £15 a T-shirt recently from a brand called Cotton On and it’s just arrived and the quality is awful. I’m pretty sure it’s the same as Shein, and isn’t even cotton. Gah!
Boden? Anywhere else?

Isn't Cotton On Australian? There are loads of their shops in Adelaide where my DS and DIL live.. (DIL is a manager there) Their stuff used to be great ..I have loads , but haven't been over there for a year so it must have bombed!

yeah I was surprised about how bad Cotton On felt. It's still manufactured in china and Bangladesh after all. Really paper thin and slippery, the kind of thing that would end up screwed up in your drawer and you wouldn't reach for it.

Uniqlo. In my opinion, they're second to none.

I agree with Uniqlo, I buy all my t shirts there now.

Oh fantastic just seen that Uniqlo do in-built bra tops. Thank goodness. Always nice when someone designed something practical with women in mind. Anyone know what their sizing is like? True or small/ big? Do you size up or not? Thanks

normal size in underwear but I size up to L in T shirts as I don't like them to be too fitted.

Try Arket or COS — both do excellent-quality cotton basics that wash well and keep their shape. Uniqlo Supima Cotton tees are also great value and feel premium.
