I fell in love with a pair of red shoes too, but they don't have my size and were the last in the line

So, I now have about a £25 budget for shoes. The ones I loved were a sort of darkish red (so not bright red iyswim) with a round toe. Hoping Psycho will be along to describe in a min!

I like 50s style (i think it would be 50s anyway) - round toe, not stiletto heel etc. Red pref.

her shoes (well, the shoes she loves) were about 3/4inch heel, roundish toe's, with a strap across the front of the shoe.(almost mary jane style I think)
