Primer for shiny (NOT oily!) nose

I have pretty dry skin with a fair amount of redness. I’m 44. My foundation sits ok with various primers everywhere except my nose. No matter what combination of primers and foundations, foundation looks streaky on the end of my nose. The skin on my nose is fine, not at all oily and with very small pores. The make up isn’t sliding off over time, it’s not going on nicely in the first place! It doesn’t seem to make a difference if I’m using a water or silicone based foundation.

Primers I have tried:

ELF power grip (the green one)
ELF blemish fighting putty
ELF illuminating
Bobbi Brown Vitamin face base
Smashbox Photo Finish
MAC prep and prime natural radiance

I’ve also tried no primer at all and that just made the rest of my makeup patchy.

I use a setting spray and a finishing powder but it’s the initial application that seems to be the problem, rather than an issue with longevity.

Can anyone suggest something I’m missing?

Erborian Matt creme, works for me!

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks from the description that it might be suited more for oily skin though?

Any other suggestions?
