Warmer tops with shorts?

Off to Ibiza on Friday and DH has these types of shorts. I've heard it may be cool in the evening and just in case he's a bit of a wimp can anyone suggest some knitwear type thing that he can wear over a smart T shirt? Going shopping in 45 mins and need ideas please.

but a jumper with a high zip neck thus is rarely a bad plan
