IYO - can fine floppy hair do fringes?

Am off to the hairdresser tomorrow to redo my highlights and get it cut (last went 3 months ago).

Last time I went the hairdresser's he suggested a fringe. Cue horrified reaction on my part (last had one age 13).

Then relented and let him cut quite a long swept over to the side one which has pretty much grown out now.

Am wondering whether to go for it or not tomorrow?

Have [gulp] taken the plunge, taken a photo (after a hard day at work, please excuse wrinkles, dark circles etc - see name!)

Would love some help from you stylish girlies - have no-one I can really ask over here and am totally clueless about hairstyles at the moment (but I usually trust this hairdresser to guide me).

thanks

ok - am back from the hairdresser's - no pics yet (will do it when I get home if DC will let me.

Am quite pleased with the fringe, got called "mademoiselle" instead of "madame" in the sandwich shop straight after.

Still really nervous about meeting anyone I know and them commenting on it (skulked into my office, luckily it's quiet today

RESULT yorkeshirepudding - I said to the hairdresser that I was worried I'd have to be having trims every week and he said "oh no, just pop in and we'll do it for you between appointments" (which I took as meaning it would be free). He reiterated it as I left...

Now wondering if DH is even going to notice

Right need to get off mn and do some work.

Will post photo later so you can all gawk and laugh

Ok - have put a couple up - for a limited time only .

Bear in mind I took them myself at arm's length and the flash has washed me out.

Ahh thanks. Think DH is not too sure but I have had compliments from several students already this morning and even my dippy colleague asked if I'd changed something.

Still feeling self-conscious though and worried about what on earth it's going to look like first time I "style" it myself...
