Any home dyes that will work on white/silver hair?

I used to use Nice n Easy , but lately it’s not lasting. I’m 55 and my natural hair colour has lightened significantly lately to a silver/white colour. It’s making me look older and washed out. I’ve tried to darken it to blonde but it’s not lasting like it used to. Can anyone recommend a different product? I want to be dark blonde ideally. I don’t want to start using the hairdresser for this, I want to do myself at home.

Have you tried L’Oréal Excellence in dark blonde? I used it during lockdown when I couldn’t get to the hairdresser and found it really good

Can you not change your makeup? Might be easier tbh

Hi
I am not a regular on Mumsnet so if anyone can reply it would be great, but I am a regular at home colouring. I am verging onto having to try a new make of colour, because the one I have used for years has been replaced by something inferior.was using Nice and easy semi permanent light brown, but bso many write ups about new version being rubbish. Then I read quite a few makes have gone this way. My hair is fully white, but have managed to coverup with the semi permanent for years!
I would be grateful for any advice of experience with recent colours since any changes in the makes anyone else has used. I have thick hair and gone through menopause, so is also quite dried out. Welcome help.
