Shorts for running that don’t ride up

DD has taken up running, bought some of those shorts that have short cycling shorts attached. The trouble is that the cycling short bit rides up when she runs.
How do we get it so that the cycling short bit stays put, is it separates, is it a certain brand?

It would be the material and fit of the inner shorts. In my experience cycling style shorts always ride up (or roll down) unless they are the performance type. Running shorts with the mesh inner part might be better and less faffy.
