Anyone ordered bags from The Horse?

I’m thinking about buying the Clementine bag from this brand but I’ve never ordered from them before. If anyone has any of these bags would you recommend? How long did it take to arrive and were you hit with any taxes on delivery? Thanks!

No idea but it’s a really nice bag, just came on to say damn you for introducing me to another lovely bag brand to lust after!

@Defiantly41 ha ha! So sorry! I like some Polene bags and have a couple and was looking at Demellier but they are both expensive. Hopefully someone here can vouch for The Horse-if not I’ll just give them a go and report back.

I've just ordered the Clementine, my DIL has it in black and it is lovley, I've ordered coffee. I have a few Mulberrys and a couple of Strathberrys. I saw a review by a man who pulls bags apart and the Horse came out well.

I have a few bags from the Horse - you’ll pay import on them but even with that the ones I have are worth it. I have the clementine in the original and mini sizes - taupe and black with gold for the original and the limited edition in the baby blue.
love the originals - can’t fault them. The gold hard wear is a soft rather than brassy gold just fyi.
the mini is cute - but it does slouch less than the original just due to the size and the fault you’ll fill it more, so there’s less spare volume to slouch if that makes sense.
I have a couple of other models too if you were interested in any other bags they have.

Yes I have several of these bags, excellent quality leather and construction, great price point and nice simple styles. Highly recommend!

I also have polene, demellier, strathberry etc up to Chanel’s. The Horse clementine is fab - squishy thick leather, fab size, lovely slouch, nice cross body option. Def worth it.

Oh OP what have you done? I've looked at the website and have fallen in love with the olive Clementine. Have I ordered, well not yet, but give it time.....!!

The Horse is an Australian brand and I have the Daisy bag (I’m Australian). I am very happy with the quality and the leather is lovely and soft. I think the Clementine is one of their best selling bags.

i don’t know why I thought they were American. The bags look gorgeous and reasonably priced but I’m wary about customs costs on delivery hence starting this thread.

It arrived today, and it is a thing of beauty, the colour is deeper than I expected, which is great. I received a text and email early this morning from FedEx letting me know I owed £52.99 in import taxes. So that does add a bit to the price. But still worth it.
