What belt with this dress?

I've bought the dress in the attached photo in both the khaki green and black. I feel like they need a belt - what would you put with them? Gold/tan/black? Should it match my sandals or is that so last century? Bought as an easy going out dress to stick in my suitcase. Thanks all 😊

A raffia belt would look good IMO, for a summer day look. Or a wide tan belt if you want smarter.
