From childhood to around my early thirties I had naturally curly hair. My routine was - Wash, scrunch in some mousse, blast with a hairdryer. I am a natural blonde but throughout this time I regularly got highlights and still kept the curls.
I had it cut much to short in my early thirties and had to straighten it every day to get some length and the curls have never really come back.
The pictures of me in the black top are ones I’ve just taken. Washed yesterday, air dried and I’ve had it tied up in a bun all day. As you can see I have a wave at most. Not sure if it’s relevant but I’m mid forties now and the colour natural. Is there any way of getting my curly hair back, has anyone got similar hair to me and managed it?

I had lovely ringlets in my teens - by the time I had my baby in my 30s my curl was basically gone. I tried loads of different curly girl products (and wasted a shit ton of money on them) but in the end I think it was stress, lack of sleep and poor diet that had really killed the quality of my hair. Incidentally I cut it all off and regrew it while focusing more on my health than products and the curl is coming back a lot better. Without being too personal, is your general health and diet good?
