Can you do the link again?

flossie64 · 19/05/2008 19:16

It is lovely. just make sure you get the right bra to wear with it.

OneLieIn · 19/05/2008 19:17

Lovely, get a corset type thing underneath.Looks lovely

TheFallenMadonna · 19/05/2008 19:17

Depends on just how big your norks are I think...

BroccoliSpears · 19/05/2008 19:17

I would say yes.
Nice dress.

SNoraWotzThat · 19/05/2008 19:18

It has a boned bodice - fab

RubySlippers · 19/05/2008 19:18

hmm - with the strapless bit and the sash underneath your boobs may look a bit "shelf" like

it is a very pretty dress tho'

tictacto · 19/05/2008 19:19

It is lovely. Very on trend.

katz · 19/05/2008 19:21

ruby - the shelf is what i was worried about, or the by my knees!

i'm a 34FF

Sorry, PC crashed on me! It's lovely, but I couldn't carry it off with G-cup boobs. You'd need to make sure you had adequate uplift!

chocchild · 19/05/2008 19:22

Yes, definitely but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable or confident in it and would spend the whole time worrying about my clevage - but that's just me! If you know you look good in it and will feel comfortable and confident then go for it. It is a lovely dress. What about shoes?

RubySlippers · 19/05/2008 19:23

I have the same problem as i have a large (ish) bust

i would try it on and see

how low does the sash sit? If it is more on your waist than directly under your bust you may get away with it

have you got a GREAT bra?

hairtwiddler · 19/05/2008 19:24

a bra like this one?

katz · 19/05/2008 19:26

ruby - nope!

was looking for advice before i go and try it on, convinced i'll look daft in it!

choc - thats my concern too.

i need a nice dress for a conference dinner, so smart but not black tie

you need the right underwear for it

perhaps invest in a great bra - they can make all the difference

Bravissimo are excellent

chocchild · 19/05/2008 19:35

Katz, if that's your concern then you probably will feel self conscious in it. How would you feel about wearing a shrug with it?

katz · 19/05/2008 19:39

was thinking a shrug, ahhh i'm useless at buying dresses

I have wanted a dress for years and it is only in the last couple of years that there are some really lovely ones around. Trouble is most of them are far too revealing for me (I am a prude!)

Slouchy · 19/05/2008 19:42

Its a beautiful dress. My sil has the figure you describe and she might wear it.
I am slimmer (though not as tall) but with ENORMOUS boobs - I would not wear it cos my cleavage would be about a foot long.

NotABanana · 19/05/2008 19:43

I think it is lovely. I would like it for me if it had sleeves/straps.
