Would you get a pedicure when you had verrucas?

So I’m really wanting a pedicure but I’ve got verrucas that won’t go away for anything. I’ve basically given up on getting rid of them. Is it okay for me to get a pedicure with them? I’ve also have had them for 5 years. :(

I didn't 😢

But on the plus side, the verruca did eventually go.

Nope. Not hygienic and not fair to the staff. Plus depending on the location if they file your toe/feet they could bleed and spread on you and them

A Podiatrist would treat them.

A beautician wouldn't and no, I definitely wouldn't go for a pedicure with a verruca.

If you go and see the podiatrist, there’s a fairly new treatment called Swyft. You have 4 sessions, 4 weeks apart.

Obv like anything, there’s no guarantee it will work but mine has gone after having Swyft.

It hurts a little but the pain literally lasts one second. Heat is applied for two seconds at a time, up to 8-10 times.

Im sure your local podiatrist will be able to advise on this. It’s a little pricey and I don’t know if you have to pay more for several verrucas.

Also, meant to say, the podiatrist can do a medical pedicure and then you could paint your nails.

medical pedicures are amazing - they properly fix your feet!

yeah I definitely don’t want to get more verrucas

No, I wouldn't (and didn't). I had one when backpacking in Asia. You know those fish things where they nibble the dead skin? I can 100% confirm that even the fish won't go near that part.

You need to be filing it, treating it, letting it dry, filing more, until it's gone. Mine was years until I got aggressive. For some people, they won't go on their own, they will become mosaic and make friends. Kill the bastard. You'll be so glad you did.
