Vampires wife dress dupe

Inspired some excellent suggestions on the Loewe thread, has anyone found a good copy of the VW classic midi dress. I love the shape and especially the metallic versions. Obviously there's 2nd hand versions on Vestiaire but they're so expensive now.

Try Nobody’s Child. I have a couple of their ‘Selena’ midi dresses and they look similar to the VW one. You won’t find a metallic fabric version but they do lots of different colours and prints.

I like them but they have no sizes available. Any other suggestions?

Liberty have several dresses in the VW style in their Liberty prints for £495. There is currently £100 off a £300 spend at Liberty, so the dresses are £395.

Mint Velvet did one last Christmas. It's obviously out of stock now, but you might find it on Vinted/eBay? It was this one: Mint Velvet

Otherwise, there's a couple here in a similar style in metallic fabrics. I'm not saying they're as nice as the real deal by any stretch, but they're a similar style.

Hobbs did a velvet version last Christmas which was nice

The mint velvet one is really nice, not crazy about the other 2 but appreciate you linking them. It's so hard isn't it. I could probably get one made.

If you decide to have one made, Fabric Godmother’s Peony dress pattern is a good contender. I’m planning to sew one (my version won’t have the frilly hem though) this summer.
