Why does the term 'practical shoes' make me shudder?

I can not bring myself to say it, I just can't.

Someone suggessted I get some ballet pums for the office, I tried hers on and I looked squat. I'm only a size 10.

All my shoes are heels or wedges.

a nice pair of sensible shoes....

it´s the opposite of sexy, that´s why!
