La Redoute

Usually a men's leather flat sandals girl, as they are so comfy, but I saw these and have ordered...not sure...any opinions?

Hi - your link's not working for me I'm afraid

NurkMagiggy · 19/05/2008 12:28

Oh, dear - it was a moment ago, they must have run out of stock - bum.
Thanks for telling me

link is bust but it's these, yes?

I'm not a fan of the buckled strap but they do look comfy, and def more elegant than men's sandals

AMumInScotland · 19/05/2008 12:37

They look nice - though I don't really do buckle straps either myself. But then, me and any kind of shoes is always a struggle!

You're really clever MrsB!

Yes that's them, though La R. had them in a soft glowy pinky light which made them look less dull...

Will report back when they arrive, they were reduced to £41 which is why I got them

I struggle too AMum, why do you? My feet are enormous, wide and long - not sure if I will even get into these but thought might try and be more feminine for a change! Have some trusty DM ones to fall back on tho

which are...here!

The front of my feet is a fairly normal width, but my heels are quite narrow, so I'm always stepping out of shoes. Heel grips sometimes help, but I usually just find them uncomfortable. So I live in boots most of the year - anything which laces up round the ankles . I've just managed to get some nice sandals from Clarks - sort of clog-style, so there's no back.

I have a pair of Campers sandals from a sale, The basic structure is the same as the ones in Mrs Badger's link, but they have a different pattern, not those buttons which I don't really go for.
They're great. Dead comfy, and a perfect height of sole for feeling good without any suffering! If the weather in rainy Provence would turn summery, I might actually get to wear them one day soon.
Hope you like yours...

Thanks very much

They arrived and are very nice, very comfy - however it does feel very odd wearing heels after flats for so long. They are also quite dainty and I am, well, not - I'm not fat but I'm tall and don't really feel girly.

Anyway they are on probation! Might send them back. If anyone else is thinking of getting some though, they're nice and comfy.
