LED flash cure lamp for gel nails on holiday

I do my own gel nails and they don’t last as long as if I would get them done at a salon but it’s so much cheaper.

I’m going abroad and want to bring some polish with me incase of emergencies and would obviously need to bring a lamp to cure. The one I use at home is too big to bring in my case so I was wondering if I bought one of those flash cure lamps if they’d do the same thing?

Has anyone done this? Just wondering if it’s a good solution whilst travelling.

My gel nails only ever lift off completely (rather than chipping) so I take a little tube of superglue on holiday so that, should one start to lift, I can squeeze a tiny bit of glue into stick it back down. I also take a little bottle of normal nail varnish (not gel) with me in the same colour so if one nail does chip, then I can dab a little into the white bit and camouflage it. Not perfect solutions but definitely better than carting a lamp on holiday with me!
