Crossbody bag to fit kindle

Moominmama0 · 03/05/2025 11:24

Does anyone know of a crossbody bag that will fit a basic kindle with a sleeve. I don't feel comfortable to just put the kindle straight in the bag.
It must be lightweight.
I have seen ones I like from bookish but the reviews are not good and the postage is £16!

It needs to at least fit 15x21x2 cm.

Ta!

Have a look at Pom Pom London.

I have the bigger version of the Uniqlo crossbody bag and it easily fits my kindle + more.

The Uniqlo cord one. It’d bloody brilliant.

If you're looking for a cheap, small bag, I can recommend this one from Amazon.
LassZone Canvas Cute Crossbody... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07PXJWX1X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

It was recommend on the travel board when I asked a similar question, but with the need to include a travel wallet and passport!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/05/2025 11:48

Mine is the normal sized one

FrillySocksAndDocs · 03/05/2025 12:59

I've got a small vegan DM one which fits my kindle perfect. Also look at disturbia bags

Roka Kennington will be a little larger than you need but it's very slim which I love and really lightweight.

Many colours, there are plenty of new ones on ebay and vinted.

Ollie and Nic. I have their ‘Doyle’ bag and I love mine, small but loads of room and you can personalise with your strap.

Abanu M by Kipling. Love mine. It's small but holds loads (including iPad mini) and it has loads of pockets.

Ooh what have you decided

violetqueen6 · 05/05/2025 07:42

@Moominmama0 don't keep us in suspense🙂

@AnyOtherNameButMyRealOne I'm trying not to order that bag . Love it and at £6...

@KittyH1985 thank you for bringing Ollie and Nic to my browsing attention, fab site!

Moominmama0 · 05/05/2025 09:49

Sorry!
So I really loved the Pom Pom, Kipling and Olie and Nic mentioned. I loved the designs and was exactly what I was after aesthetics wise. However Pom Pom was more than I wanted to spend on one bag. Kipling (the design I loved!) had a lot of bad trustpilot reviews so I was worried. Olie and Nic was lovely but I wanted another compartment like Kipling.

In the end I went for a Roka carnaby XL as I liked the practical side of it, I decided to get my eldest a bag from there as well and if you spend £100 you get a free Roka backpack so I was suckered in to that!
Honestly I spent way too much time looking at these bags deciding what to do. My husband nearly ended up pressing the pay now button for me.
I just hope the Roka is good, lots of good reviews.
Thank you for your help.

Thanks for updating!
I'm the same when deciding to buy ,I spend so long reading reviews etc that I become incapable of making a choice.
