Comfy outfit for school run (size 16)

Post a recent breakup, ive really wanted to get my confidence back up. I do approx 1.5hrs out walking each day for the school run (drop kids then walk home).

Currently wearing leggings, trainers and a shirt every day

I'd like to make myself look a bit nicer if possible. Any suggestions? Has to go with trainers to do walking.

Long dress/ skirt with cycling shorts or Spanx underneath? Wide leg light trousers with a tee shirt/ denim jacket? Maybe yoga trousers?

I've just had this delivered from shein and it's the most comfortable thing I've worn in a long time. Also very flattering. I'm an 18 and felt very confident in it

People are still recommending Shein? If you have the time please try clothes on in stores rather than ordering multiple sizes you don’t need.

I used to wear dresses or skirts with shorter length leggings underneath and team with T-shirts. Although if you’re doing lots of walking I find walking shoes far comfier than trainers. Try places like Mountain Warehouse or Go Outdoors for more practical and comfy walking clothes.

@Stellaris22i do because I can't afford much else at the minute so I'm living within my means :) I also know my size so no need to buy multiples.

I’m on minimum wage and just don’t buy new clothes rather than support companies using unethical practices like child labour.

I've seen others on the school run do the wide leg jeans and tshirt thing, but I'm a size 18 and I don't know if that would work.
I did see a lady wearing a loose fit mini dress with 3/4 leggings and trainers, she looked great.

I like cargo trousers at the moment, uniqlo have some nice ones. Also keen to try a set like one pictured above, the one I saw was in New look.
