Dress for a wedding - pregnant

I need a dress for a wedding in the early summer. I’ll be very early 2nd trimester and for various reasons don’t want to reveal until after the wedding. I don’t often wear dresses and am naturally quite slim so I don’t really want to spend a lot. Please help me!

I’d choose something similar to this (although not necessarily this one). The shape is loose over a small bump without screaming ‘I’m covering a bump’, and a busy-ish pattern also confuses the eye so a bump is less obvious.

I had this dress in a different pattern and wore it all through my pregnancies and the bump was definitely less noticeable than in some of my other clothes. https://onehundredstars.co.uk/collections/dresses/products/string-dress-acer-red

I do think how well it disguises the bump will depend on:

  • How big the bump is (from about 14 weeks there would have been no hiding my pregnancy)
  • What your normal style is. I like floaty dresses and bold colour/pattern in general so it wouldn’t be unusual for me to choose one of the dresses above. If you suddenly opt for something like that when you usually wear skin tight neutrals then it might be more obvious.
Even if you’re showing a tiny bit then it’s unlikely that it’ll be obvious enough that people will actually ask or mention it (unless they’re incredibly brave/rude!)

Thank you! These are what I was thinking but had no idea what to search for.
I really don't normally wear dresses except for very special occasions so I don't have a normal style as such but have had more form fitting dresses which will not work at the moment.
