help - need wardrobe advice

Hello - am in process of refreshing my wardrobe. Two reasons, due to have weekend away with DH soon and have bought new undies, now need new clothes, second reason have a couple of special parties to go to in next couple of months and need rather gorgeous outfits to wear.

curvy
tend to need size 16 tops but can get away with size 14 bottoms

really looking for nice evening dress for parties and perhaps sexy shirt to wear with nice trousers as part of weekend away with DH. We are going to theatre one night so wd feel more casual in nice trousers and sexy top as opposed to dress. any help, places to go welcome. Have got out of shopping habit and could really do with help from GOK!!

Sounds heavenly - have you tried bravissimo if you have big bangers? They have some lovely stuff and because they fit properly, I think they make me look tons slimmer....

Otherwise, I love Zara, but the big sizes are always out of stock (I stare longingly at a size 12 and dream of the day....)

Wallis had a lovely pink dress reduced to £15 that would suit your shape, its a bit flouncy but very gorgeous. this but in pink in store

do bravissimo do special occasion dresses? I knew they did shirts and t-shirts but thought they were all more functional. Will look on the website. How do people do these magical link things on their messages? Just looked at Wallis dress scramble - looks nice just need to check lengths as with being just over 5ft 7 sometimes dresses fall a bit on the short side.

I am am 5 7 and it falls right on my knee. bit slinky, needs spanx to keep it all in.
