It's an all rounder type cream. I like it and always have a tube. Lasts about a year. I use it on my lips, rough skin, burns, things like that.

Ooh I'll watch this thread with interest. S'lebs rave about it don't they for just about everything?

FacingUpToThis · 17/05/2008 20:04

I bought some once and it was really greasy - was it a bad tube, do you think?

Lots of people don't like the consistency or the smell. It's a bit like marmite.

spicemonster · 17/05/2008 20:09

It's brilliant for sore skin and chapped lips but very, very sticky

cmotdibbler · 17/05/2008 20:16

It is sticky and greasy, but is amazing for in flight rehydration, soothing manky bits of skin, and as an under foundation layer when skin is problematic. It isn't a day cream - its a kind of treatment ointment.

expatinscotland · 17/05/2008 20:26

i found it shite.

it took ages to sink in and the smell and consistency were rank and tacky.

SwissCheese · 17/05/2008 20:26

I was told that it was it was a form of highly concentrated vitamin E cream that was used in hospitals for burn treatment to encourage new cell growth in the skin. I've always used it for chapped skin, lips, on new scars from cuts etc and it's fab on bits of sun burn and brittle nails. A tube lasts ages as you only need a very small amount.

RipMacWinkle · 17/05/2008 21:09

I use it most when I have a cold - you know when your nose gets all chapped - smother your nose in it as you sleep and by morning, it's like you have a new nose. Well nearly.

Also fab as an overnight lip soother too.

plusone · 17/05/2008 21:32

ah i thought it was some sort of day cream not sure if im wiling spend £20 on it then

Got someone to bring me back some from america. Much excitement, opened tube, smell was very familiar.. opened nipple cream, same smell, looked at ingredients, basically both are lanolin. Now use nipple cream on everything, much cheaper and is marvellous.
