Please recommend me a good hair mousse for curly hair

I had a mousse which I got from a hairdressers salon which was great but it has run out and is no longer available and I have binned the can so don't know what it was. I tried a cheap supermarket mousse but it was totally crap. Can anyone recommend a mousse for curly hair please?

I’ve been using Shockwaves curls mousse for years and years now, and it’s always been my favourite.
Everything else seems to leave it sticky or heavy or rigid.

The Percy and Reed one is great.

Shockwaves volume. I find it better than their curly mousse.

wella shockwaves

I use Shockwaves for curls or Aussie Bouncy Curls cream.

L'Oréal Spiral Queen mousse is good, but fairly expensive. It made my curls lovely though.

Shockwaves Volume Mousse. It's weirdly better than the one for curly hair. I wouldn't use any other mousse now.

I used to use one especially for curly hair from Boots a few years back so I recommend checking Boots out.

I've used Shockwaves Volume for years but recently been converted to the Superdrug purple one which also has the advantage of being cheaper than Shockwaves.

Davines but it’s a bit spendy so I use a little drop of serum/argon oil with it so I can use less mousse

My all time favourite is Paul Mitchell sculpting foam with the red cap. It's not cheap though and not cg friendly but I've found it better than anything else.

Shockwaves looks like a clear winner but I also like the sounds of the cheaper superdrug version. For extra points does it smell nice?

Once a week I use the Garnier Method For Curls products. Pre-shampoo, shampoo, deep conditioner and followed by the leave-in curl spray. Then every other day during the week I use OGX Coconut Curls shampoo and conditioner and on the other days I don't wash my hair u use diluted CC conditioner in a spray bottle which helps to tame the frizz (no brushing, obviously, just fingers to tease out the curls).

@DiscoBeat thanks but I just wanted a recommendation for a hair mousse? Do you ever use one?

I’ve found a combination of Aveda Be Curly Advanced cream followed by their Phomollient styling foam a really good combination; curls have definition but aren’t weighed down.
Hope you find something that works for you, it’s so annoying when a product is discontinued!
