Help finding - summer trousers, wide leg jeans (34’ leg & size 20)

Help finding tall plus sized summer weight trousers, flattering comfortable wide leg jeans.

Tried Long Tall Sally (but the quality is awful) and tried ordering numerous pairs to try on in M&S (as my local store thinks only slim women either a size 10 or size 12 can possibly need a longer length) and ASOS but none worked and now Next only go up to an 18 in the longer length I need now.

Tu have nice (& soft) wide legged jeans in different lengths.

I recommend Halara

Ayeayeaye25 · 19/04/2025 22:05

Do they do longer lengths?

i like these wide leg jeans as they’re stretchy so nice and comfy. Def go a size down as they come up large, so you could try an 18XXL? I think they are longer than they say they are as I had to get a ‘petite’ pair in the end and am 5’6”. The regular were several inches too long!

@Ayeayeaye25 hope they are good for you. Has occurred to me I should have specified that my ones are the dark blue colour. The link seems to have gone to the lighter ones. When I’ve had a look at the other colours in the shop I have noticed not all of them are stretchy.

Ayeayeaye25 · 20/04/2025 12:44

Thanks opted for the darker ones and will give them a shot.

I don’t know if anyone has any recommendations for comfortable versatile neutral coloured trousers either to dress up or dress down.

Thanks

I probably can’t help here as I live in wide legged cropped trousers when it warms up. Can recommend the H&M £14.99 ones as light airy viscose. I may be deluding myself, but I think the black ones look ok with some nice leather sandals and a summery top. I am always fairly casual though. I have never found any linen trousers that don’t go horribly baggy within an hour of wearing.

I normally wear similar from Seasalt for knocking around in but they are more like culottes on me with being tall but trying to up my game a little bit and also my legs are usually between waxing sessions whenever the weather is nice.

My Seasalt ones can be relegated to gardening in and dog walking.
