I’ve just found a beautiful Etro dress I’d forgotten I have!

Bought from netaporter in August 2019, it was much too small, stuffed it back in the box and put it in my study. Forgot about it as I went on holiday etc etc. Was just on netaporter looking for something to wear to ascot and suddenly remembered it. I’ve lost a lot of weight since then. Put it on - it’s perfect! Actually a bit too big but works nicely with the current looser aesthetic. And really beautiful 💕

Interestingly it cost £890 back then and now all the same sort of silk dresses are between £1100 and £1400.

Anyway I’m totally thrilled.

Because you had forgotten about it, and presumably had also forgotten paying for it, I’m going to suggest that you could view it as a free dress which is even better!

I love Etro! I keep a close watch on Vinted for their stuff. Do you find it fits true to size, or like many designer labels does it run small?

It is Italian which I find always runs small
