Black tie dress for post-partum body

Really in need of links for dress options for a black-tie wedding (set in a beautiful garden setting, 3pm ceremony, followed by champagne hour, and reception).

I went shopping for the first time in 3 years today - and I realised my post-partum body is a different shape. My hips have clearly widened, my breasts have shrunk, I’m untoned. I feel like a melting candle. Basically I’ve got a solid centre with long floppy arms and legs (I’m 176cm tall, seems like size 8 on top, size 12-14 on my tummy)

I’ve always been a terrible shopper but desperately need to find something as the wedding is in a week.

please help

I’m no style guru but there was a post about wedding guest outfits last week and a few people recommended Roman. What do you mean by long floppy arms and legs 😂

A week?! 😂

Tsk!

It’s sounds as if separates will be best for you. And it won’t be all that warm yet - so a smart trouser suit in a flattering but non-work colour might be your best bet. Black tie doesn’t have to be a dress.

What sort of budget do you have in mind?
