Help with comfortable but smart trainers to wear for work

I have increasingly got a bad back and achy legs and feet so want to get more comfortable shoes for work. I’m office based but it’s a flexible dress code. I’m looking for some smart trainers which go with black trousers and blouse but also have a bit of cushioning in the sole. Does anyone have any recommendations pls? I’m a bit clueless and wreck shoes quickly(!) so not sure where to start!

So with you on this one! I bought black Fit. Flop trainers and I have some lighter weight knit ones from there in white and navy for summer. Very acceptable in my office. www.fitflop.com

I bought some Camper, I like ankle sneaker boots, but they have lots that might suit www.camper.com/en_GB/women/shoes/sneakers

FitFlop Rally are very comfortable and might work for you. I have both cream and navy canvas ones and live in them.

I like these from Clarks (they sometimes do some cool styles)

I have them and if you keep the leather shiny & the shoe laces white, they can look smart & almost-cool!

I’ve had nice, non-sporty, work appropriate trainers from Clark’s in the past.

Place marking. Winter I am good as I have nice boots. This time of year ballet flats and heels kill my back. Chunky loafers dont suit me.

Allbirds are good, no big logos , smart and comfy too.

Allbirds are good and come suitable for different weathers too. https://www.allbirds.co.uk/products/womens-wool-dasher-mizzles-natural-black-dark-grey?price-tiers=msrp%2Ctier-1%2Ctier-2%2Ctier-3%2Ctier-4
They are pricey but I've had some luck on BNWT on Vinted and ebay but check your sizing in a shop first as they have a confusing system.

I also have some M and S and New Balance that are very comfy and suitable for work.

I go for a dark upper with matching sole as in the link, so they just blend in with dark trousers and don't show every bit of dirt like white soles.
