Pom pom London bags, the original?

I first heard of pom pom bags here on s&B a while ago. I searched them and subscribed to their emails, thinking I quite like to treat myself at some point.

I'm not so fussed on the colourful straps but like the sizes, shapes and colours of the bags themselves.

Since then every single time I go on Instagram I get ads for bag brands that look pretty much like them.

I run my own business with what used to be a unique product range but have been copied endlessly so really want to support the original creators. Is that pom pom or someone else?

Well, the camera bag style was first started by Gucci’s SoHo Disco in 2014. There have been many variations since by every one, designer and high street.
So no, Pom Pom bags are not the original designs (they look like they were influenced by the Marc Jacob’s camera bags). If you like them and they suit your lifestyle though, I wouldn’t worry!

I saw the Pom Pom adverts before I saw any other camera bag-style bag adverts.... so while I doubt they were first as such, they were first for me. I quite like them, and I like choosing the straps.

I'm not very fashion aware so didn't even know what they are known as. Did a search for camera handbag and there loads, how embarrassing @Fliperty😅

No, not embarrassing at all. I admire your ethical stance- but in this instance just buy whichever you like best 😊
