Need new hair straighteners - help!

My old faithful GHDs have finally curled up and dyed (sorry). Urgently needing new ones but which ones? I have had these sooo long I have no idea what’s best now, and there is so much choice. Recommendations please! I have quite long, fine hair that I straighten most days.

Cloud 9 definitely, when I needed new ones lots of reviews said GHD are under new ownership and not a patch on what they were (I have never had them myself). Lots of excellent reviews for Cloud 9, I bought some and they are great. Excellent customer service too. I find my hair keeps its style much better/longer than the cheaper ones I had previously
I have fine hair too and use the straighteners every day after washing my hair in the shower. I rough dry and then style.

I’m not much of a poster, more a reader, but had to reply to recommend Cloud 9. My GHD’s stopped working after years of service and loyalty leaving me in the same dilemma. I went for the wide plate cloud 9. Never looked back.

I had GHD and when they died I bought some really good ones from John Lewis, about £35 I think, we've had another second set since then too for another daughter.

My friends mentioned Cloud 9 as well (despite my never having heard of the brand) so I have gone with them and snazzy new straighteners arrive today. Excited!

The cloud 9s are pretty good. V similar to the GHDs and decent price point. I’m glad I didn’t fork out for Dyson or whatever, as cloud 9s are fine.
