Marks and Spencer is very BROWN atm

Yes i know other shops available but have loved the Marks regeneration recently.

Went to a mega size store and it did not look as good as it has recently. Online it looks cool - in store less.
Online they have loads of lovely occasionwear separates that look ace, in store it looks like droopy sequin knits and weird brown knitwear that look a bit like a hessian sack.

I recently bought 2 brown swimming costumes. NEVER thought I would get swim wear in that colour but absolutely love both!

We were in Marble Arch yesterday, completely uninspired, too much pale, beige, yellow, wishy wshy, very Kelly Hoppen.
As tall ladies, we find the tops be they shirts t shorts, nighties, really short, boxy,
even the mens sweaters we looked at, short.
Lots of linen ish stuff, white flouncy skirts, pretend bucksin too, a la Yellowstone, which is possibly a colour inspiration

Brown and yellow everywhere. I don’t want to look like a middle aged brownie guide thank you.

Pale beige, cream, yellow etc everywhere - colours I just can’t wear. I went in looking for neck T-shirts. Came out with a black one but that was it.

Oh I’m channeling my inner hippie. I have bought a cream crochet top,
a lovely pale yellow silky tank, a brown collared top… I’m full on 70s…

The burgundy trend didn’t suit me so I’m here for this..

@tobeeI’m a winter too and really struggle with brown. I was in M&S today and plain black, navy and white tops were the only things I could see that might suit me.

Ofc! I forgot. Doubt that affected this season though with long lead times
agree about swimwear I like to think the designer who did Boden a couple of summers ago and did amazing stuff has defected to M&S
