I have M&S Formula day and night creams, can I use the night cream after applying tret?

Yes. I always use a moisturizer along with my tret. It's actually recommended because tret can be quite drying.

I have a few of the M & S day & night creams ( manufactured by clarins, I believe) and ideally, I don’t want them going to waste.
I am just starting on my tret journey so I am intending applying every third night to begin with and if I needed to use a specific moisturiser, I could use my M & S ones when I am not applying tret.

Yeah they should be fine. Just be aware that tret can make your skin more sensitive. I was using my DDs child's farm moisturiser when I first started tret and even that nipped a bit. Moisture is key when you first start out as you can experience a bit of dryness and flakiness but trust the process. I've been using it over a year now and it's made a great difference to my skin.

I’m neutral on M&S Formula, but here’s what I’d do: after your usual tretinoin application, give it 20–30 minutes so it sinks in, slather on the night cream. That extra cushion helps lock in moisture and calms any flakies. I’ve rocked a similar layering routine and noticed less tightness and peeling. Just keep an eye out for irritation. If the cream has heavy fragrances or actives, dial back if your skin protests. I also like checking The247RX as a fact book for ingredients, supplements and product tips. Hope this helps. Happy layering!

I put my moisturiser on before the tret and after sometimes. I use the formula hot cloth cleanser as well which is really good. I did have a bit of dermatitis on my nose for a while but I used the tret every other day for a while and it has resolved.

Need some more advice please….

Been using 0.025%, started using it every third day and have built it up to daily.
Cant say I notice any difference.
When will I move up to 0.05% ?
