Thoughts on these gold Mary Janes?

I was expecting not to like them, but they actually look nice on. Just wondering if they'rea bit gaudy though - what's the general consensus?

I bought myself a pair for those spring/summer days when you're wearing a dress but not sure if it's draughty summer weather. I've a silver pair too.
