Hershesons Zhoosh foam dupe to take on a plane (under 100ml)

I've found this is the only thing that keeps my hair looking vaguely decent but it's over 100ml so can't be taken in cabin bag luggage.

Am I destined to look like a frizzy, mad scientist on my holiday or can anyone help please?

Put it in your hold luggage?

Toffeesgirl · 07/04/2025 08:45

Thanks but we're only taking hand luggage. I'd somehow thought that the rule was just for liquids not aerosols (yes, mad I know!)

You have lots of options. Put your bag in the hold, buy something to do your hair with when you get there, take something different to do your hair with, don’t go on holiday but stay at home with nice hair. Depends on what makes you happiest, especially if not being able to style your hair with one particular brand is going to spoil your week.

Btw the rules are mad and extensive. ANYTHING that has been liquid, could be liquid or might be mistaken for a liquid in one of its other states is liquid for the purposes of airport security. Mascara, lipstick, yoghurt for your lunch, hairspray, eyedrops, Vaseline, dry shampoo - all capable of being potential threats to the aircraft. 😬

What’s the actual product if it’s a dupe?

DoComeToMeKitty · 07/04/2025 09:21

I think tye OP is asking for recommendations for a dupe that is under 100ml

It's obviously not going to spoil my week (I hoped the tone of my original post was lighthearted) but I would like to look my best while I'm away.

This is Style and Beauty and so was asking if anyone could recommend something similar in a small enough quantity that I would be able to take in a cabin bag as we are not taking hold luggage.

Color WOW Dreamcoat? I use it on hot holidays to keep the frizz down. You can get a 50ml travel size

Toffeesgirl · 08/04/2025 21:44

The hand luggage success has taken many trial and error trips!

I have bought a travel size of this as recommended by my hairdresser. Happy to report back on Monday!
