Graduation and garden party!

I am attending my sons graduation in June (finally after 6 long years) and then the royal garden party a fortnight later.

sadly I am no longer the lovely slim person of old, and nothing in my wardrobe is going to work.

im 5 10 - having reached the age of shrinking and large breasted!

i don’t work (husband is terminally ill) so i live in leggings and tops, and have no discernible style whatsoever. Please help me with some inspiration!!!!

Leggings and a lovely dress or tunic might be the middle ground for you? Congratulations on all your achievements, well done you!

Or a jumpsuit? They don't work on me as a short person but would for you!

What clothes size roughly? Budget? What colours do you like?

budget / hmmm - probably up to £150
colours. I’m pale - Scottish - long dark brown hair - straight.
stupidly long legs.

Garden party - the legging are a no go - it’s quite posh 😩

I wore the Anthropologie Somerset maxi dress to ds graduation and it comes in a number of colours and prints. It was so easy to wear and it looked lovely. I did add a jacket.
