Pretty Dress Company?

They all my boxes, but it’s mail order only so I can’t try them on, and returns take time and may be costly. I need knee length or midi, pale pastel colour, fitted at least to waist, and half or longer sleeves.

So, does anyone have any experience of the quality and fit of Pretty Dress Company dresses? I’m 5’6”, normally sometimes size 6, sometimes size 8. My waist is 27”, which falls between 8 and 10 on their size chart, but my bust is only 34”, which is their size 6. As the top is fitted, a 10 would be way too baggy, but a size 8 may be too small around the waist.

I had the Hepburn swing dress in ivory as my wedding dress (tiny Covid wedding). It’s lovely quality, heavier fabric than I anticipated. I am similar size to you and I think I wore a 10 (sorry, can’t check as it’s in the attic now). I ordered a couple of sizes and styles and had no problem with delivery and returns, so I’d suggest ordering a couple to try. The V back was quite low so I had to get different underwear as my bra strap would have shown at the back. At its current price, it’s a steal!

I've got an hourglass swing dress. I’d say go for the size 8.

Thank you, I really appreciate the replies. It looks like a really lovely wedding dress. I’ve ordered an 8 in pink, and if that doesn’t fit, I’ll exchange it. I’m usually very cautious about online only clothes shopping because so many of them are poor quality imports from the far east, even if they claim to be UK based, and returns can be a nightmare.

I have a dress from this company too. Different style to yours.

It is gorgeous. The best made (they are British made) dress I own. It is fitted and holds me in in all the right places. So many compliments.

I bought it to wear to celebrate a big birthday and wore it again at DC’s graduation.
