Help me find a dress and look HOT

I only have £30 max.

I have a size 10 waist, 32E norks, good legs, flabby tummy.

I am going to my mate from college's wedding. The ex who broke my heart at 18 (yeah I know, 9 years on it shouldn't be important) and the bitch friend who betrayed me (with said ex) will be there.

I want to look good.

Indie/rock type friends and I want to feel "me" (also indie/rock) so not too flouncy iyswim.

HELP!

Hmmm, does it have to be a dress? They're all a bit flouncy at the moment. I've seen lots of gorgeous dresses around but the nice ones are all about £200!

Flame · 14/05/2008 21:16

nope - as long as I look stunning anything goes

Flame, I would go for something like a pair of skinny jeans and a vest with some killer heels. No suitable dresses, and the skirts are all a bit ra ra? You're not an emo are you?

lazarou · 14/05/2008 21:30

I good vest and bra will also show off your amazing chest quite nicely.

princessmel · 14/05/2008 21:31

Not jeans for a wedding though?

Flame · 14/05/2008 21:31

That could work - have a pair of stilletto sandals, or my mate said I could borrow her black patent ones. Spent ages trying on fabulous shoes in new look the other day, but couldn't have walked in any of them

Nice jeans would be absolutely fine given who they are (tis just the evening do)

nursing bras are hell aren't they?

Perhaps some highwaist black trousers with a flair at the bottom. Topshop are quite good for trousers and jeans

Flame · 14/05/2008 21:35

would high waist not just give me pregnant belly?

OP posts:
lazarou · 14/05/2008 21:39

No, because you have a good waist and you could always wear a chunky belt. High waist ones with a flair will balance you out

lazarou · 14/05/2008 21:40

I'll try to find an example of what I mean..
