What shoes with this dress?

Because I’m not sure long brown boots is my vibe at all. Black shoes? Black ankle boots? For dinner next week, will be too cold to have my toes out. So not sandals. Should I wear black tights as well?

I think something like these would work- love gold and green together. I wouldn’t wear black opaques tbh- feel it would kill the look.
