Some advice on moisturisers and eye creams please.

Hello everyone, I need some advice on buying a new moisturiser/serum/eye cream.
I’m 56 this year and am starting to notice more lines across my forehead and around my eyes. My skin’s now so dry that it can’t be helping either.
So, I’d like a new moisturiser etc that will hydrate and help with the lines, particularly around the eyes, and would be grateful for any recommendations.

I appreciate I’m old 😀 and I’m not expecting to look young, I’d just like to make my skin look a bit better. My skin’s also a bit sensitive.

what do you currently use?

I don’t want to spend more than £200 for the lot if at all possible.
I’ve tried a number of things over the last year but I haven’t really used anything specific for a good few months now, mainly because I think I overused retinol and my skin reacted badly.
Happy to give anything a try!

I regularly use the Aveeno calm and restore for daytime but that was because I needed something to help calm my skin following the retinol incident!

I’m 57 and have recently started using RoC maximum hydration cream. I think it has retinol. I love it. It’s very luxurious and smells great.

I often recommend Nip + Fab, they have a ceramide range which helps repair the skin barrier. It even says on it “for if you have overdone the acids” I found it very helpful when my skin was recovering from allergic reaction/contact dermatitis. They are reasonably priced and you can do a little quiz to see what suits you.
