Hello!
I'm going on holiday late April abroad for first time since having my child and looking for flattering swimwear, preferably a bikini and no idea where to start! Pre kids I was always 8-10 now I'm 12-14 with quite a flabby tummy!

Looking for advice on what styles would ne flattering? I'm.hopeless at this kind of thing!

I really like a high waisted, retro style bikini as it hides my stomach without me feeling too covered up. Cheaper styles on Amazon or pricier (but excellent quality) from For Luna and Bettylicious (or Unique Vintage if you have the patience for shipping from the US).

So many options these days! I used to spend a lot at places like Bravissimo but you can get great styles in M&S, Matalan, Next, Asda and Tesco. Not seen anything in H&M or Zara. Tik tok shop have amazing swimsuits with sarong for under £10. Good luck in finding something lovely 😍

So many lovely designs now. My favourite is Joe Brown and is very flattering with lots of support up top

White Stuff tankinis are amazing. Such good quality and thickness and often reversible. I live by them.

Passthecake30 · 31/03/2025 22:21

I like the pourmoi bikinis as they are bra sized

M&S is where I usually get mine from. Really good quality for a reasonable price. Second the person who said high waisted. That’s usually the style I go for the same reasons.
