I've just been on Next, new look, Dorothy Perkins and boohoo and ALL have t shirts plastered with cherry graphics 🍒

Where has this stemmed (haha) from?!

Jewellery too, Accessorise is full of them.

Yes! Loads of cherry / other fruit kids clothes as well

It’s the year of the Cherry - design companies source trends popping up on insta and whatnot so it probably starts organically and then picks up a push into commercial fashion.

Owls and bees and lemons and rabbits and toadstools and a large number of blossom and flowers various have been the same in the past. It maybe tallies with downer periods when people need to be cheered up cheaply with a jolly t or cushion.

Lots of lemons and citrus fruits in recent years. Guess the fashionistas are just moving onto a new fruit.

Will it lead to a lot of ‘taking your cherry’ banter, or has that phrase died out now?

Better than bloody butterfly print stuff but that’s mostly reserved for cold shoulder tops for fat people.

There's nothing different or original out there - everything the same. Lazy fast fashion I guess.
