Fantastic costuming in The Residence (Netflix).

Particularly for Uzo Aduba's Cordelia Cupp. So often on S&B posters over size 8 complain about not being able to wear this or that - buttoned shirts, tailored jackets, wide trousers - but she appeared in all of those things and looked utterly splendid.

I thought the styling was great too

I watched the first 2 episodes with my son but I promised not to watch any more until he can come and watch it with me - he doesn't have Netflix. I noticed her jacket straight away and commented on it - I don't usually notice clothes at all. I like it, it reminds me a bit of Only Murders in the Building.

I’d assumed her clothes were specially made until reading the articles above. The second gives all the sources. But I’d be very surprised if they weren’t all altered to fit her perfectly.

Ive just finished it and agreed Detective Cupp's clothes looked great. 👌

A v neck tank top over a shirt helps cover gaping buttons and the jacket probably wouldn’t do up on my figure, so it’s a way to add warmth without doing up buttons on a jacket. Maybe they weren’t altered. Does she only wear that one outfit? Does look great on her. I’ll take notes for autumn! I just wish more shops cut for an actual shape rather than just straight up and down!

No, she definitely wears more than one outfit! And very different clothes in a different environment, which look equally good. (Spoilers!)

Her hair is delish! Love those cotton shirts on her too,not always white, but beige or cream. Loving her styling all over 🥰
