50th birthday dress

I want to look stunning for my 50th birthday party (having a party at a local venue with a jazz band and DJ and lots of old friends coming) but don't know what I want to wear, apart from I want a lovely dress (or jumpsuit). Please give me some ideas, budget of up to about £150. I'm size 10, large bust, blonde. Not a fan of overly floaty or hippy things or florals. Prefer bright/strong colours or black to anything pastel. Short is fine but not too short. Generally go for more fitted outfits because anything baggy with the large bust makes me look matronly! I want to wear heels with whatever the final outfit is. Not a LBD as I have about 10 of those already. Any suggestions welcome, thank you!

I know this is not the usual recommended style of this forum but I would go for something like this.

That's really nice but I should probably have added to my OP - nothing sleeveless or with a neckline that means I can't wear it with an ordinary bra! I hate wearing strapless bras with a passion (but can't not wear one, unfortunately).

But that brand is always being recommended here, @Aworldofwonder.

Yes I just meant; I know not everyone likes fitted or short.

Just bought the ruched dress on Vinted so I’m pretty chuffed about that!
