Are Holland Cooper Jeans worth the money?

Soo my delightful teen has sent me a link to some Holland Cooper jeans for a birthday present!

I have to admit I was a bit 🤨 at the price..

I have never shopped there guess I’m too old now for it anyway

Are the jeans ok? Is the quality ok? Is it a bit chavvy for a teen? I guess said teen wouldn’t have asked for them if they were…

I don’t have anything from this brand and always wonder who is it aimed at? The prices are eye watering and the style is very dated to me, it’s something I imagine ‘trendy ladies’ were wearing in the hay day of Millennial fashion in 2016. Plus why the logos? I can kind of understand some people wanting to wear a Chanel or Dior logo, but… Holland And Cooper? 🥲🥲 to me this brand is like a countryside Guess if you like?😜

FeministUnderTheCatriarchy · 24/03/2025 14:33

Holland and Cooper is very popular with influencers that promote luxury country living, like Lydia Elise Millen and Josie and several others.

The quality is great and they do make lovely pieces. Personally I would rather my teen into them than say Gucci for example (that's more chavvy imo, hard hat on lol).

But it depends on affordability for you personally and also if teen is still growing. If she is likely to keep them forever (good jeans can last a lifetime) the go for it.

If she is younger and they will be too small in a year, then they are too expensive imo

katmunchkin · 24/03/2025 14:50

If she is a country teen then yes, I imagine she’d love them!

wintersgold · 24/03/2025 17:23

If she likes them and it will make her happy, surely that's reason enough.

OrlandointheWilderness · 24/03/2025 17:32

The quality is very good tbh. Not my taste and I’m very ‘country’ - just don’t like the bling branding!
it’s Holland Cooper btw - no ‘and’!

I've got some (very much not an influencer, but wanted nice jeans which went with knee length boots) and they are very nice. But mine were from Vinted.
I do also have one of their long coats, and the quality is very good, great detailing

I’ve recently bought some jeans, the black leather look ones and yes I’d say they are worth the money and not overly expensive compared to some other brands. The hardware on them a very sturdy and the jeans themselves fit nice (I struggle to find adult clothes small enough to fit me). I’m considering getting another pair in another colour

Gingangoolee · 24/03/2025 19:28

Bought some lovely high waist brown jeans from them. No discernible logos and 100% cotton. I wouldn’t necessarily have thought this brand was for me I just saw it at Bicester village when killing time waiting for family. They’re really good quality & comfy and wash well 😀

moonmaker93 · 24/03/2025 19:38

I don’t think they’re a chavvy brand - Gucci on the other hand… Wink would probably put them more in the realm of the likes of Fairfax & Favor. I have some equestrian items from HC and they’re pretty good quality.

EvilNextDoor · 25/03/2025 11:08

Yes we do live in the country 😂 she’s stolen my Fairfax ankle boots on occasion

She is an older teen and never really asked for expensive jeans before white fox was her to go which is expensive for a sodding hoody I think she wants some ‘nice jeans’

I will see if I can take her to Bicester or find a local supplier

I don’t mind buying them as a present but she knows not to expect me to fork out for them at any other time

I think I’m lucky I’ve escaped her being really into designer clothes so far…

One very happy teen with the jeans, they seem really good quality but at £££ they best be really…

Thank you everyone…sadly I think she has her eye on a few other bits 🤣 I feel there will be an expensive list coming my way shortly!

Glad she's pleased with them. DD3 has got loads of stuff from there, and it seems decent quality. I work in Cheltenham so often go in for a browse but as I'm a size 18 heffalump nothing in there will ever fit me - I just go for the candles and scarves Grin
