Need a top to wear with these trousers

I've got these lovely slouchy trousers but I need something to wear with them: I usually wear them with a slim merino wool jumper, but need something slightly dressier for a dinner party at the weekend. Please help! Budget max 200. I don't generally have a massive budget for clothes so buy rarely and carefully. I'm fussy - natural fabrics only - and would like to look nonchalantly louche/understated/glamorous if that's possible.

I would probably go for something structured like a corset top and heels to dress it up and avoid everything being slouchy.

I’d be tempted to go for structured too, by adding a fitted waistcoat in black and beefing up the glamorous jewellery. Perhaps a nice statement clutch bag.

I would go for a bodysuit and kitten pointed heels, blazer.

They are remarkably nice for the price trousers. And you want to look relaxed and louche not trussed up?

Maybe not louche in the strictest sense of the word 😂 but definitely understated. A bit French.

Don’t want to look swamped with a too-loose shirt (although a slim-cut silk shirt is definitely along the right lines) but also a corset-type top is definitely not my vibe.

Wouldn’t mind a tight/fitted long sleeved, scoop neck (like a leotard) top or body but haven’t found anything.
