Help! Lost weight and don’t know where to shop!

I’ve recently lost 4 stone and am now a size 16. I’ve been a size 24 for years.

I’ve bought solely online for years and have no idea where to shop.

I tried Next and found nothing I liked. I’m mid 40s and an Apple shape.

My budget is medium. I’d appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks.

Have you had a look at New Look?
There is a thread running on here recommending a really good looking pair of jeans and when I went to look at them, They had a lot of things I liked on the website.

What kind of style do you want to go for?
Have a look on Pinterest and make a board for your new wardrobe.

Well done on your weight loss, You must feel amazing.

I've recently lost 3 stone and went to new look last week. It was the first time I've been able to shop in there for years!

I am a 14/16 and buy a lot from Fatface and Sainsbury’s. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could also wear a 14/16 in Nobody’s child too.

When I lost weight, I was a bit lost clothes wise, I was so used to buying stuff for my shape, I’d lost sight of buying what I liked! I follow a few different fashion influencer types n Instagram (wearsmymoney being a favourite, she’s a similar age to me, and her style suits what I like mostly) and it’s given me more of a sense of what I like, and I’ve discovered a few brands and stores I hadn’t come across before. Places I’ve been shopping in include Albaray, Hush, & other stories, Zara, Uniqlo, Oliver Bonas, M&S (which I think has upped it’s game in recent years), Baukjen, Sezanne, Me & Em. (Some of those are pricier than others). I’ve also rediscovered the ability to mix and match and create different outfits which has helped build my wardrobe. I won’t buy anything unless it goes with two, but ideally at least three, items.

congratulations on the weight loss, it’s a great achievement, I hope you enjoy finding new things to wear.
