Is it vain to want a sports bra with padding in?

I am due to run my first 5k next month and really need to get my outfit together. I have an old sports bra but it looks like a 5 year old trying one of her auntie's ones on. In short following 3 kids and +++ breastfeeding there is precious little to hold up. I would go braless, but that can't be good for what little I have left to be flapping in the breeze - and it'll look rank. I was thinking about buying a sports bra (I am a D cup apparently but think pitta breads for flatness) and padding it. My false fillets will get ultra sweaty and slip off or down - not making a great finish photo. Any ideas?

do people really have running outfits?
is it a fashion parade?

Do they make sports bras with padding?

I'd like a swimming costume with padding too.

I would go for anything that doesn't rub and forget the padding to be honest. Can't help thinking that it would be uncomfortable and that if you are running 5K you can look cool in a 'hey aren't I fit and sporty' kind of way, but any other effort at looking attractive is doomed to failure.

How spooky - I was just wondering yesterday about whether they have slightly padded bra tops / sports bras anywhere. And your nickname is curiously close to my name in RL - do I have an alter ego who posts my questions for me?

Anyway, I don't think you're vain, I'm sure people are far more likely to work out if they feel good in their sports clothes, and good on you doing a 5K.

Will watch this thread with hope...

Outfit maybe wrong choice of word. Running gear. I could just turn up in what I normally run in. My Grandad's old vest (he died in 1984) and a pair of too small shorts off E-bay plus oversized bra underneath. I may be running for the homeless but would prefer not to be mistaken for one of them.

That looks really nice bogie - might see if I can google the brand in the UK.
