Perfect for running errands, if those errands are trading a cutlass for a hunk of bread to store in your knapsack while on a quest for a mean wizard

Doggymummar · 19/03/2025 21:18

Well we will probably all have a pair before Summers out, I like them, anyone seen a pair in green 💚 🍏?

Less than £3.00 on temu if you are still tempted!!!!

That was my first thought! They keep popping up on Temu adverts on Facebook all the time.

BangaloreLulu · 19/03/2025 21:38

£6.59 on Temu.............

TheChosenTwo · 19/03/2025 21:41

Oh god they’re absolutely revolting 🥴

HappySheldon · 19/03/2025 22:11

In Australia in February I got something remakably similar- also in black. Thing is they are $5 (so circa £2.45 by today's exchange rate) and to my mind are a great deal more attractive.

ETA when I say 'similar' I mean- mesh-like and uncomfortable

JaneJeffer · 19/03/2025 22:14

Imagine what your feet look like when you take them off 😂

HappySheldon · 19/03/2025 22:15

oooh! Particularly if you wear them on a long haul flight!

HappySheldon · 19/03/2025 22:16

It would be like those french fry cutters

TheDevilWearPrimarni · 19/03/2025 22:16

They look like they would be exceptionally uncomfortable to wear.

WhatterySquash · 19/03/2025 22:20

They're ... interesting but not £130 worth of interesting! I can imagine them looking cool on a young arty type maybe. I have some v reliable staples form Hush but they can have some very odd moments.

See these actually look wearable! Though would make for some interesting foot tan lines by the end of summer 😁

link please? oops! see @BangaloreLulu has helped us all 😉

Blackcordoroys · 20/03/2025 08:18

I actually like them 😁 I’m not spending that money on them obv but I can see me wearing them on a night out with silky black trousers

CharlotteStreetW1 · 20/03/2025 08:27

Bumcake · 19/03/2025 19:08

It’s a sign @CharlotteStreetW1. Buy them!

That pj set would be handy if you liked a lie-in but also had to be at your job on Squid Games in the morning @champagnedates.

Fortunately for my feet I've given up smoking or I'd be right on it!

Middleagedstriker · 20/03/2025 08:40

I quite like them for young women with pretty feet (not me!)

bunnybunnybunnybunny · 20/03/2025 09:10

Totally not surprised the critical mass on here does not like these shoes. But then again, I hate the majority of things posted and linked to on this board, so it's about right.

The MN badge of disapproval is the ultimate. Am definitely going to have to buy them or something similar now 😂

On a related note, a poster asked me on another thread (I think it was about quilted jackets or horseshoe jeans) how to tell when a trend is on its way out/pretty much over and done with. It's usually when it is being talked about on here/when the trend is all over the high street and the original designer inspiration has been taken to the extreme. The shoe in the OP is the prime example - it's the fishnet/mesh shoe trend taken to the extreme as the more basic version is everywhere on the high street. It's taken about 5 or 6 years to get to this which is often the life cycle of most trends.

WhyDoesItAlways · 20/03/2025 09:58

There's a matching mesh bag too which I actually quite like although looks a bit like one of those underwear laundry bags.

MidnightPatrol · 19/03/2025 18:00

Perfect for paddling in the sea without stepping on a rock

--or a sea urchin! Or a weever fish! what useful shoes! 😂

candycane222 · 20/03/2025 10:28

Caspianberg · 19/03/2025 19:20

They also say ‘ do not wash’ so pretty rubbish as a beach shoe

Disappointed now

glitterturd · 20/03/2025 11:04

Do they have pockets though? 😂

PuppyMonkey · 20/03/2025 12:21

I was Grin yesterday at the Hush catalogue with all the models randomly flinging their arms up in the air. What’s that all about then?

BobLobla · 20/03/2025 12:43

If I spent more than a few hours in those shoes with my fat feet they’d look like something from the play doh barbershop

I like mesh ballet flats, but not those booties. No shade thrown at anyone who does, they do look very fashionable.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 20/03/2025 14:54

Imagine on a hot day when your feet swell up 🤣
