'Slimming' tights to wear under clingy dress which won't give me a muffin top!

Hi
I'm going to a party this weekend and have a lovely 20s style silky satiny dress lined up but it is a bit clingy on my all too ample posterior.

I need some of those slimming tights to smooth out VPL etc but I find some just squish the wobbly bits up out the top into a muffin top.

Any recommendations for ones which don't?!?

Trinny and Susannah slimming outfit thingys, that go right up to under your boobs are supposed to slim you down a size and give great 'bum lift' with no muffin top. Make sure you get the right size though coz you can't take them back. Then you could wear stockings if you need to wear something on your legs....

spanx do ones from ankle to boobs and a whole body unitard thing - everything inbetween too.

Check out TKMaxx for a good, cheap selection. You do have to do a lot of trying on though, not a shopping trip to take a baby on I found . I especially like the under-boobs to just above the knee knickers (6.99) and gave me a waiste for the first time in years.

Also recommend a balcony bra for some extra va-va-vooooom

Foxy - there is so little up top here that even a balcony bra doesn't get me any va va voom!

For a bust enhancement balconette bras are not good imho - you need boobs in the first place. I am shouting about my new primark bras - better than an ultimo and only £4 - water filled inserts and so much padding - I'm a pear shape and it's balanced me out.

Me too lucky - we were not lucky when they handed out body shape were we!

Sadly no Primark near here though. I find M&S ones pretty good though - a bit extra.

Would love enough boobs for a cleavage but short of putting weight on all over it isn't going to happen - even when I was pregnant I didn't get 'proper' boobs!
